Rita Tekeyan is a Manifesto anti war, against genocide and all kinds of crimes which destroy humanity. The war, a theme personally experienced by musician/singer/performer and artist Rita Tekeyan (lebanese born, armenian origin), this is a tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives to speak out the truth, for the respect of origins and identity.
Through music, Rita Tekeyan wishes to give dignity to the society’s perception which is subjected to a gradual and well-structured hypnosis, reads history, events and places with no depth, placing all on the same plane.
The project focuses on war stories, war details, events which are unknown to lot of people, events that no radio or tv news would talk about, apparently insignificant to a normal eye but huge in the eyes of a child.
A music project where the whispers and silence are as essential as the screams and desperation.
Pieces of memories are put together in a new order, a new dimension, the music dimension, the words dimension.

Rita Tekeyan è un Manifesto contro la guerra, contro i genocidi e contro tutti i tipi di crimini che annientano l’umanità. Tema vissuto personalmente dalla musicista/cantante/performer e artista Rita Tekeyan (nata in Libano di origini Armene). Questo è un tributo a coloro che hanno sacrificato la propria vita per la verità, il rispetto delle origini. Attraverso la musica, Rita Tekeyan vuole ridare dignità alla percezione collettiva che, sottoposta ad una graduale e ben strutturata ipnosi, legge la storia, eventi e luoghi senza profondità, disponendo tutto sullo stesso piano.
Il progetto si focalizza su storie di guerra, dettagli di guerra, eventi sconosciuti, eventi che nessuna radio o tv racconterebbe, apparentemente insignificanti ma catastrofici visti attraverso gli occhi di una bambina.
Un progetto musicale dove i sussurri e il silenzio sono essenziali quanto le urla e la disperazione.
Pezzi di memoria messi insieme in un nuovo ordine, in una nuova dimensione, la dimensione della musica, la dimensione delle parole.
